The Latin America and the Caribbean Area is composed of a sensational blend of cultures that consists of the flair of Brazil, the spice of Mexico, the passion of South America, the fervor of Central America and the celebration of the Caribbean.  As we think of Latin America, it’s not only the roots of Edgar, his home and where all his family live; it is home to over 500 million hard working people.  With its abundance of lush natural resources, its limitless potential for growth and global influence, we are saddened!

No other area in the world is a more vivid example of wasted opportunities.  With the majority of the population under 25, drugs, alcohol, unrestrained sex, violence and empty narcissism that now seems to rule the hearts and minds of a generation that should be preparing to take the reins of the future!

Though the culture consists of Christian/Roman Catholic roots, the transformational impact in the culture has been minimal.  Since the 19th century, there’s been a presence of evangelicals but leaning towards legalism and anti-Catholicism, which sadly distorts the true message of Christ.

We recently found out that there are very few JESUS Film workers in Latin America and currently there is a big need for the production of the film in the region. We so look forward to the day that we can be there in the fight to present the Gospel as God’s provision to the land that is in desperate need for real solutions!  The fight continues so until then……

We are praying for God to use us here in the U.S. to effectively cast the vision of the JESUS Film to the Latin community.  It has to be at the center of God’s heart to see the North American Latinos, living in this privileged land to raise up and do what they can to see those in their homelands have every chance possible to know Jesus; from the largest cities to the smallest remote villages.


 

Recently God opened doors for us to make great connections with Latin community leaders who are helping us expand our horizons and have more opportunities to meet others to share about the JESUS Film and its impact. We are thankful for that & also for the addition of new partners!

"LATIN AMERICA"

We have been blessed by a break through in making great connections with some Brazilian community members. They caught our vision with the ministry and are also leading us to connect with other Brazilians. We pray that God brings many to join us!

As we continue to meet with people sharing the work of the ministry we are overwhelmed by the response we receive from many.  We are told time & time again; “Thank you” God has used you today to bless me!  Praise God!
 

“Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David”... Isaiah 55:3.

 

As we read this passage we get so encourage to know that by making the gospel available on film to people that don't have access to it in their own languages, we are giving them an opportunity to hear and see the story of his life. By doing so, many people will be able to know him and seek him while they can find him and call on him NOW while he is near!...Isaiah 55:6.
