She is a 12 year
old student whose life was changed in March while attending a church youth
camp; now she is changing lives by impacting her peers and using the JESUS movie
in Spanish as a tool to do so!
Ayline shares
that she has been able to show the movie at her school this month. She attends
a Catholic school and with April being time for Holy week the teachers and
students are more open to hear the message.
The movie has
been shown in several classes and teachers have asked Ayline to come after the
showings to talk with the students. As students respond with tears in their
eyes Ayline has been able to give each one a DVD movie.
We look forward
to more testimonies of how God is going to use Ayline in her community. Thank
you Pastor Wilbur from Gamboa Union Church for keeping us updated on how the JESUS
movie continues to change lives in Panama!
Embera JESUS
movie update… As
many of you know the dubbing of the Embera JESUS movie was completed
last month. On Good Friday the movie was brought to a remote area called the
Darién located on the eastside of Panamá close to the border of Colombia.
Well over 600
Emberas showed up for the first showing of the JESUS movie in their
native tongue! More than 12 villages were represented at this annual conference
put together by the Embera church leadership.
Over 50% of the people
viewing the movie that night were from local villages and was the first time
they got to see and hear Jesus in their own language. The Embera church
leadership is very encouraged and excited as many people are requesting copies
of the movie. Let’s continue to pray for the Embera and for this movie
translation to continue to change lives in Panamá.
Sharing the
Vision …… This month we
continue to meet with individuals and churches sharing the need of the
translation of the JESUS movie. Our goal is to complete a team of
partners that will make it possible for us to report to our assignment and
continue to change lives through this amazing media tool.
Thank you for
your love
