24 days away from home! … enough to miss Blake’s
first baseball game and Morgan’s French horn solo performance…also missed baby
Micaela’s 3 month doctor check up…..but the trip to Panamá to record the JESUS
movie in the Embera language & visit supporters went very well. I
missed seeing a lot of friends due to the timing of the Carnival week in Panamá
as lots of people leave town and make a family get- away. I had the
opportunity to visit 4 churches and share about the Embera recording project as
well as all the work still to be done with other languages in Latin America!
Recording Team & Pastor Wilbur
Pastor Bill Wilbur hosted the team of 22 in the Gamboa Union Church. It was amazing to watch the 3 Sunday school rooms convert to a recording studio and sleeping quaters then back to Sunday school rooms by Sunday morning.
It was truly awesome to witness the church body come together to make this happen. So many people stepped up with resources, transportation, housing and their time. 5 mission organizations and too many individuals to name them all. You know who you are, thanks so much!
Please keep praying as
leaders among the Embera will be doing the initial showings of JESUS,
this weekend in several villages of the Embera people. Pray for each person’s
heart to be touched by the message of Christ as they will see it and hear it in
their heart language.Jesus
now speaks Embera!
